Pomona Ca. —- Aliyah Cartajena dropped 37 points and the Lady Vikings girl’s basketball team held on for a 77-27 win over the Ganesha Giants Thursday night.
Cartajena wasted no time setting her career high, scoring 27 of her 37 points in the first half. The junior got hot at the start of the second quarter, knocking down three shots in a row including two three-pointers and a pair of free throws less than two and a half minutes into the period. Cartajena currently leads the team with 18.9 points per game.
